KIMonoS app for iPhone and iPad

On-demand transport for the municipality of Spiesen-Elversberg.

You can use the KIMonoS app to request and book journeys within the municipality of Spiesen-Elversberg, and the system will provide you with corresponding journey suggestions. When you book a journey suggestion, the journey is entered into the KIMonoS on-demand system and an NVG minibus picks you up and takes you to your destination.

The on-demand service is a type of on-demand bus service and is currently being tested. Stops have been set up throughout the municipality that are not far from your home and your destination.

The minibus is ordered via the app. All you have to do is enter the start, destination, the desired departure time and the number of passengers - and you will receive a suggested journey with departure time, estimated arrival time and a stop close to where you will be picked up. The stop where you are dropped off is also very close to your destination.

More than 100 stops in the municipality of Spiesen-Elversberg have been selected and marked for passengers.

Once you have selected and booked the journey, it is reserved for you.

If several people book journeys in the same direction, the journeys are combined. This means that fewer vehicles are needed. The advantage: it

saves resources, energy and costs.

The trips are carried out in a NVG minibus with space for a wheelchair and a baby carriage.

As we are still in test mode, the ride is free of charge.

When boarding, all you have to do is show the booking number in the app and off you go.

Driving with on-demand transport also means fewer cars, exhaust fumes and noise in our community and no more tiresome searches for parking spaces. In other words, a step towards a livable and lovable community
